I travel up and down the west coast and take lots of pictures! For now, this wil be my dumping ground to add a bit of structure and organization but I thought others might enjoy them too!
Crowds jockey for position all over the Peninsula starting at about 5:00 but when you are the Grasshopper and have patience, the best viewing spot is inevitable! Not only is this the best spot, and my childhood spot, it is front row on the bay at the only free parking near the new Marina Park!
Having grown up in NB I have seen my share of boat parades in my life, especially from the prime viewing spot on our deck on the bay at 18th St. It has changed over the years, kind of like the switch from analogue to digital. Check out these videos leading up the Grande Finale.....
